The calendar of the men’s Serie A3 Credem Banca championship, 2023/24 season, has been official. The newborn Plus Volleyball Sabaudia will begin its adventure within the friendly walls of PalaVitaletti on October 15 in the home match against ShedirPharma Sorrento. Debut at 18 for the team led by coach Leondino Giombini. For the away match on the second day, Sunday 22 October, Plus Volleyball will be engaged in Puglia, hosted by Just British Bari. For the first big match, we will only have to wait for the next round, when Sabaudia will host OmiFer Palmi. First midweek shift Tuesday 1 November for the away match in Fano, which anticipates the rest of the fifth day, second midweek shift Thursday 7 December, when the pontine players will host San Giustino. The first leg will end Tuesday 26 December with the away game in Modica.
Gigi Goldner (Plus Volleyball Sabaudia): “With the closure of the transfer market and the officialization of the calendars, an important first phase has been concluded for the new company Plus Volleyball Sabaudia. I feel satisfied for the guys who will form the team for the next A3 championship, even if it’s a new competition for me, which I don’t know and therefore waiting to be discovered. We have made available valid athletes for coach Giombini. As a new club our goal is to make a decent championship, the potential to do well is there. We hope, at the end of the year, to be able to reap the fruits of this first part of the work. I dutifully thank all the collaborators present with me at the three transfer market days in Bologna, surely without them it would have been more difficult to set up the new team, each for their own part of competence. I hope that the city of Sabaudia will reappear at the building and welcome us, as a newly established company, in the best possible way. Our duty is to make the public passionate and to bring them more and more, match after match, to cheer on Plus Volleyball Sabaudia”.
