During the pre-season meeting of the A-Role Referees held in Rome, the match official Michele Brunelli received from the president of the Serie A Volleyball League Massimo Righi the “Cesare Massaro” League Award – Best Referee Serie A2/Serie A3 Credem Banca 2022 /23.
Like the other League Awards, the 54 clubs of the 2022/23 season voted for the best referee in Serie A2 and A3. The corresponding prize dedicated to SuperLega Credem Banca was instead presented to Stefano Cesare during the “Presentation of the 2023/24 Season and Calendars”, last 13 July in Bologna.
