After the announcement of the arrival of Omaggi and Giampietri, another middle blocker arrives at the court of Coach Marco Marzola. Having started 6 years ago from the tip of his boot, Samuele Aprile chooses Bologna as the next destination for the continuation of his career.
Born in 1997 and originally from Cinquefrondi (RC), the youngster counts 5 seasons spent in A2 and A3, the last of which in Tuscania, reached the quarter-finals in the championship that has just ended. There were numerous reasons that prompted the twenty-six-year-old to choose Geetit, but it was the staff in particular that convinced him. “I’ve known the coaches since I played in Portomaggiore and I got along very well with them”.
The young central player, a rookie in the 2018/19 season in A2 with Conad Lamezia, achieved the most important goal in 2021 by winning the Serie A3 championship with Delta Volley Porto Viro, promoted to A2.
Samuele, like the whole team that is being formed, knows that a high-end team will be equipped in Bologna: “I think we will be able to do very well and get some great satisfaction”, since Bologna has been aiming ever higher in recent years, doing good championships and structuring well also at the corporate level”.
Aprile, enthusiastic about the new adventure, wanted to underline: “This year I wanted to play in a beautiful city, and Bologna is beautiful”.
