Edoardo Caneschi is a new player for Allianz Milano. A complete center back in all the fundamentals (he also hit 19 aces in the last championship), he introduces himself to the Milanese public by answering these first questions.

Meanwhile, welcome Edoardo. What do you expect from the next season spent wearing the Allianz Milano shirt?

“From next season I expect an even more balanced and competitive championship, full of great battles from which I hope to gain a lot of satisfaction.”

You already have an important and ever-growing career, how did you start in volleyball and where do you want to go?

“With volleyball I started a bit from nothing I would say (Edoardo played football as a child), I didn’t know it well as a sport and my mother took me given my height. Obviously the dreams are big and I hope they all come true, from the club to the national team.”

Do you already know the city of Milan and what will it be like for you to play at Allianz Cloud?
“The city of Milan already speaks for itself and I am ready to get to know it much better. I think the Cloud is one of the most beautiful arenas in the championship so playing there at home will be an extra boost.”

What type of opponent was Allianz in the last championship?
“I would say that in the last championship we played just a few games against… ah ah… but every game we gave each other a hard time. Milan managed to never give up and prevailed in the challenges that mattered most.”
