Gamma Chimica Brugherio restarts from the recovery of the 3rd day of the return round of the Serie A3 Credem Banca championship, expected tomorrow, Thursday 18 January with the match starting at 8.45 pm, on the Personal Time San Donà di Piave court (live on the Legavolley YouTube channel) .

After the two-week break, dictated by Selleri and Carpita’s call-up to the Wevza tournament with the Italian under-20 national team, which ended with a silver medal for our boys, Gamma Chimica Brugherio gets back on track to face fifteen days of truly fire that starts tomorrow with the match against San Donà and continues on Sunday 21st in Brugherio for the match against Savigliano, Mantova away on Saturday 27th and then back to Paolo VI for the recovery against Mirandola (Thursday 31st – 7.00 pm)  and Sunday 4th February at 6.00 pm against Acqui Terme.

Before the interruption we left ourselves with an important recovery for coach Delmati’s boys, authors of four consecutive victories (Cagliari, Sarroch, Garlasco and Bologna) which have redrawn the ranking of the white group, although still quite intricate in terms of survival fight, which now sees Meschiari and his teammates, with two races less, in 8th place with 16 points.

Everything will start again from San Donà, 32 points, second strength of the white group with 12 victories and only 2 defeats in the championship, with Brugherio who in the first leg at home had managed to snatch a point from the Venetians after a beautiful comeback by the rosanero, 2 down -0.

The central defender of Gamma Chimica Brugherio, Mirco Compagnoni, talks to us about this return: “San Donà is a tough opponent, as we saw in the first leg, a very aggressive team that in blocking and in attack put all the teams in difficulty championship. I meet up with my former teammate Favaro (ed., both at Santa Croce in A2 last season), who is having an excellent championship, with excellent statistics, like the rest of the team. The serve will be important to put the opponent’s reception in difficulty, so as to try to limit their strong points. As in the last two away games, it will also be important to have a fighting spirit on every ball, even in moments of difficulty. The season started with many difficulties that did not allow us to play as we know how, but together we managed to overcome this moment; it will therefore be important for the rest of the season to try to continue on this path and try to do better than the first round starting tomorrow”.
