This morning Valsa Group Modena Volley coach Francesco Petrella spoke about the Italian Cup quarter-final scheduled for Thursday 4 January (8.30 pm) in Perugia against Sir Susa Vim.

“In my opinion it’s good to play this type of match – explains Petrella -, it’s an inside or outside match and it means that you don’t have to think about tomorrow or the consequences of the match. We all know the level of Perugia and what kind of team is, our task is to challenge them, be in the game from the start and play our cards. At the moment there is no shortage of trying to approach each match in the correct way, but trying to resist when things don’t go. Milan, the first set was fought, so at the beginning of the match we were there and we fought. What’s sad is that, after the difficulties between the first set and the start of the second set, we gave up and it’s a factor that recurred after the match with Piacenza. I didn’t expect it, we will definitely have to work and improve from this point of view. We will have to try to develop some technical certainties, we have talked about it in recent days and our aim is precisely to make sure that the game is ours landmark. Davyskiba? He’s a young guy, he’s working to be more consistent and guarantee a performance with fewer ups and downs.”
