The innovative Del Monte® Coppa Italia Serie A2 is underway with a calendar parallel to the A2 Credem Banca Play Offs. Game 1 of the Round of 16 is scheduled for the weekend as a best-of-three match. Competing in this first round are the teams ranked between eighth and twelfth at the end of the Regular Season and the three teams that finished in the Quarterfinals of the Serie A2 Credem Banca Play Offs. The games open tomorrow, Saturday 13 April (8.30 pm), with the challenge between Tinet Prata of Pordenone and WOW Green Aversa. On Sunday 14 April, at 5.00 pm, Puliservice Acqua S. Bernardo Cuneo meets Abba Pineto, while at 6.00 pm Consoli Sferc Brescia will compete against Conad Reggio Emilia and Kemas Lamipel Santa Croce against Pool Libertas Cantù. At the end of the series, Grottazzolina (winner of the Regular Season) and the victorious teams in the Play Off Quarter-finals A2 Credem Banca will face the winners of the Round of 16 in the next round.
