Consoli Sferc Centrale del Latte faces its second promotion Semifinal and is ready to guarantee the San Filippo public a match full of emotions against Emma Villas Siena. If during the season the toucans have prevailed in both matches, the Tuscans present themselves to the appointment with the postseason in dazzling form: a streak of ten victories, including the double defeat inflicted on Ravenna in the Quarterfinals, and a Nelli in giant format who leads the scorers’ ranking with 46 points, including 11 aces of the 17 total collected in the two Play-off matches.
The Tuscan starting six led by Graziosi includes Nevot as setter and Nelli as opposite, Randazzo and Cattaneo as spikers, Trillini and Ceban at the center, Bonami as libero.
The series is played in the best of three games.
Matteo Bonomi, a Brescian setter who was the protagonist of the Quarterfinals against Aci Castello, knows what the tucani need: “We come from two excellent performances and we will have to be good at repeating ourselves because in Siena we find a strong, orderly and competitive team that comes from an important series against Ravenna and is launched into a second part of the season at the top. We must put them under pressure from the beginning by pushing on serve, knowing that at home the home field advantage helps us a lot on that fundamental. It will be useful above all to limit their strong points, which are a very fast ball on the wing and a lot of play in the center.”
