The sixth (and final) preseason outing for what will, however, be the seventh actual match, the last before the season kicks off on October 25th with a home match in Vinchiaturo at 5:00 PM against Modica.
The EnergyTime Spike Devils Campobasso are ready to head to the Lucanian city of Rotonda where—defying any superstitions—on Friday, October 17th, with first serve at 6:30 PM, the Rossoblu will face the other big team accredited to a top-level tournament in the Blue Group of the Credem Banca Serie A3: Reggio Calabria, led by Sicilian playmaker Davide Saitta, formerly of Fenice Isernia and already playing for the Italian volleyball team.
“For us,” Campobasso coach Giuseppe Bua explained on the eve of the match, “the spirit will be the same as in previous tests: using this event to further improve ourselves on the one hand and putting into practice, on the other, what we did during the week, where we focused a lot on serving and the break phase.”
