The season just ended for Domotek Volley has left a deep mark in the hearts of the fans and the city of Reggio Calabria. Palma Spataro, one of the key figures in the management, tells the story of this adventure in an exclusive interview, retracing the most exciting moments of a year full of successes and passion.

“It was a beautiful season,” Spataro begins, “and I found myself catapulted into this new experience.” Special thanks go to coach Antonio Polimeni and Marco Martino, creators of a project that has restored prestige to Reggio volleyball. “It was a triumphal ride, in which the sporting spirit of Reggio Calabria came out again,” she emphasizes.

The Palacalafiore has returned to being a temple of volleyball and Reggio sports, with a public presence that brought back memories of the glories of the 80s and 90s. “For us who experienced the Palacalafiore in the old days, it was a very strong emotion,” she says enthusiastically.

One of the most significant aspects was the involvement of the city. “The kids made Reggio Calabria fall in love”, says Palma Spataro. The enthusiasm also exploded in the schools, where the young fans showed overwhelming affection. “The enthusiasm of the kids, but also of the managers and teachers, was at very high levels”.
The matches were a real 360° show, with memorable victories and defeats faced with pride.
