An important match is being played at the PalaParenti. Tomorrow, starting at 5:00 PM, Emma Villas Codyeco and Campi Reali Cantù will face off in a crucial match, even though the schedule indicates it’s only the fourth matchday of the championship. In the first three matchdays, the Tuscan team has won one game, while the Brianza team has won none. The standings show Emma Villas Codyeco earning three points, while Campi Reali has just one.
Tomorrow’s match will therefore be an opportunity for both teams to improve their standings. This is Emma Villas Codyeco’s second home match of the season. The first went very well, with a 3-0 victory against Catania. In their two away matches so far, however, the Tuscan team has lost, both 3-0, first in Pineto and then in Prata di Pordenone.
In the first three days, Cantù lost at home to Aversa (in their debut, 1-3), then in Lagonegro (3-0), and finally at home to Porto Viro, in a tiebreaker. And it was against Porto Viro that Campi Reali earned the point they currently hold in the standings.
