A week and a day of work behind us for Allianz Milano, which began the season under the guidance of assistant coach Nicola Daldello, assisted by athletic trainer Giovanni Rossi and his team, with the support of coach Davide Delmati, and the entire medical and physiotherapy staff.
“The start of preparation in the year of a major international event, like the World Cup, the Olympics, or the European Championships,” Daldello explains, “is similar for all top teams, who find themselves with many athletes engaged with their national teams. In our case, we also have coach Piazza working remotely, at the World Cup against Iran. However, with Roberto, we had already defined every aspect of these first few weeks in detail. I speak to him often to give him feedback. For a couple of months now, our trainer Rossi, our doctors, and our physiotherapists have been in contact with the staff in Brazil, Japan, Belgium, Finland, and now Serbia, who train our players.”
