On Sunday, October 5th, in the elegant setting of the BHotel in Lagonegro, the official presentation of Rinascita Volley Lagonegro took place, marking the opening of the 2025/2026 season. It was a well-attended and heartfelt evening, with fans, sponsors, institutions, and enthusiasts in attendance, testifying to the deep bond between the team and the local area.
All the players and coaching staff members were introduced on stage, greeted by the warm applause of the crowd. During the event, the confirmation of Nicola Fortunato as captain and Stefano Armenante as vice-captain was also made official, two figures who symbolize the experience and sense of belonging to the red and white jersey: the former a true Lagonegro native, the latter in his sixth consecutive season at Lagonegro.
In his speech, President Nicola Carlomagno expressed great satisfaction with Rinascita’s return to Serie A2 Credem Banca, emphasizing the significance of a milestone achieved with passion and consistency: “Returning to the second tier is a source of pride for our entire community. It is the result of sacrifice, commitment, dedication, and love for these colors. Now we are ready to begin a new chapter, and we need the support of our fans, who are our true strength.”
