Following the first joint training session of the season, Perugia coaching staff is analyzing the initial data from this new team, led by Sir Susa Scai Perugia, which faced off yesterday against Cisterna di Latina.
The group is obviously very small, with five Block Devils starters playing for their national teams at the World Cup in the Philippines, which kicked off last Friday. However, the joint training session is still a valuable opportunity to test out on the court what they’ve practiced in this first month of preparation.
Due to the absences of the national teams, the starting six that took to the court yesterday at the PalaBarton Energy does not reflect what will be the starting six for next season. Young setter Bryan Argilagos will be playing alongside Ben Tara, while equally young French spiker Adrien Roure, who has supported the group in training for a couple of weeks and will leave Perugia next Thursday, played yesterday alongside Plotnytskyi.
