From early morning to late afternoon, it was an intense and emotional Saturday at the PalaPanini for the first edition of “Rising Stars,” the Modena Volley Academy’s Under-15 Men’s Tournament.
Six participated teams: Modena Volley, Enjoy Volley Vasto, Univolley Carpi, Pallavolo Scarperia, Pallavolo Massa Carrara, and Pallavolo Futura Avis. These teams faced off in well-matched and well-played matches, culminating in the semifinals and final, where Pallavolo Futura Avis defeated Pallavolo Scarperia to win the tournament. The Tournament MVP, young Pallavolo Futura Avis spiker Davide Hidalgo, was awarded the title.
At the end of the tournament, Modena Volley’s Serie B/Under-19 team played a friendly match against affiliated team Pallavolo Massa Carrara: the final score was 3-1 in favor of the yellow-blues.
Nicole Rinaldi, Modena Volley Academy manager, said: “We are very proud to have hosted the first edition of the “Rising Stars” youth tournament at PalaPanini, dedicated to Modena Volley affiliates. This is a project we’ve been working on for several years, and we’re thrilled to finally be able to make it a reality. It represents an important opportunity to bring affiliates closer to Modena Volley, strengthening their connection with our organization.
