Roberto Russo has been called up by the Italian Volleyball Federation, at the recommendation of Technical Director and Head Coach Ferdinando De Giorgi, for a training camp with the Senior Men’s National Team at the Olympic Training Center in Rome.
The team will include, in addition to Fefè de Giorgi, Assistant Coach Massimo Caponeri, Assistant Coach Marco Meoni, Athletic Trainer Nicola Giolito, Scout Ivan Contrario, and Team Manager Giacomo Giretto. The team will be accompanied by the medical staff, represented by Francesco Lanzani and physiotherapist Fabio Rossin.

The hometown center, Sir Perugia, will play his seventh consecutive season with President Gino Sirci’s club this year. His medical and athletic recovery continues, a program planned for him by the Juventus staff in consultation and active collaboration with the Italian national team’s medical staff. Work is progressing well, as he himself emphasized: “The recovery is going well and the progress is visible day after day. From July 24th to 26th I’ll be in a training camp with the national team where I’ll continue my physical and re-athletic work.”
