Volley Savigliano is pleased to announce the fourth purchase in view of the 2025/26 Credem Banca Serie A3 championship of the first team branded Monge-Gerbaudo.
It is Riccardo Ballan, a Paduan born in 1997 who completes the package of middle blockers available to coach Simone Serafini. 197 centimeters tall, Riccardo is in the midst of growth and sporting maturation, as also confirmed by his recent career. After his debut in Serie D with Valsugana Volley Padova, a team with which he reached Serie B in 2017/18, Ballan has, in fact, “climbed” the categories: Serie B, again, in Massanzago until 2022, then Serie A3 in Bologna and Marcianise, before the recent experience in Serie A2 with the Delta Group Porto Viro jersey, with which he scored 7 points in the last year. Overall, he boasts 74 appearances in Serie A, with 261 points to his name.
Now, the opportunity to update these data in Savigliano: “I have heard a lot of good things about the club, which immediately conveyed seriousness and trust to me. A decisive aspect was the presence of a team base that was already solid and, in my opinion, very promising. The figure of the coach also had an important weight in my choice: I had already faced him as an opponent and I am convinced that he can make an important contribution to the growth of the group. I expect a season full of stimuli and satisfaction, both on a personal and team level.
