Campi Reali Cantù’s final joint pre-season training session concluded a short while ago at the PalaFrancescucci in Casnate con Bernate. Coach Alessio Zingoni’s men prevailed in a tiebreaker against Gruppo Consoli Sferc Brescia, winning five hard-fought sets from start to finish. This is a good start for the Cantù team, who will begin their Serie A2 Credem Banca campaign on Sunday, October 19th at 5:30 PM. Their opponent will be Virtus Aversa, featuring former players Motzo, Mazza, and Tiozzo.
Coach Alessio Zingoni shuffled the deck and started with Federico Bonacchi at the setter, Gaetano Penna as opposite hitter, Gabriele Pertoldi and Andrea Bacco as spikers, Gabriele Maletto and Nicola Candeli as middle blockers, and Luca Butti as libero. Coach Zingoni rotated all the team’s players throughout the sets.
