Tinet Prata’s second away game of the season will take place on Sunday at 4:00 PM (note the time!) against the ambitious Prisma La Cascina Taranto Volley, a noble team relegated last season after years of experience in the Superleague.

Prisma La Cascina is coming off a resounding 3-0 defeat on the difficult Ravenna court. Playing opposite Japanese setter Yamamoto was Oleg Antonov, the Apulian team’s top scorer with 11 points. Cianciotta and Pierotti were in the starting lineup with 10 and 9 points, respectively. At center, Sanfilippo and Bossi were replaced by Zanotti in the third set.

PRE-MATCH QUOTES – “Getting back to winning ways after a poor performance like the one against Aversa has given us the energy to face the upcoming matches with the right attitude,” Vice-Captain Simone Scopelliti shared with Radio Serratoio Tinet. “Against Siena, despite facing a very respectable opponent, we never gave up and were solid and decisive. Taranto may field opposite Lawani for the first time, but we will prepare for the match, as often happens in the early rounds when you can’t rely too much on statistics. The focus will be on our pitch because we know that if we play a certain way, our opponents will also have to worry.
