Piacenza’s cherry on top – The CEV Cup was the icing on the cake of a very positive season. Everyone tries to win, but few succeed. It was a truly important season, although very difficult from a medical perspective because we were battered. I’m happy for the boys and especially for the coaching staff because we finally managed to realize a project: here we live on projects, but sooner or later projects also have to be realized. This year we did it, I’m truly proud of that. I’m also truly happy for Gianfranco Curti: it’s been years since we’ve seen him in the gym, and it filled us with joy and pride to see him again. The Curti family believed in us from the beginning, and we are there day after day, season after season, believing in us. I don’t even want to think about what this season could have been without the injuries, because we’re content and happy the way we are.
