Lavia extended

Trentino Volley’s summer continues with another highly anticipated signing: Daniele Lavia. The Calabrian spiker’s history with the yellow-blue club, studded with important and unforgettable moments, continues with the signing of his annual contract renewal, which will allow him to wear the yellow-blue jersey for the sixth consecutive season.
Arrived in June 2021, Lavia quickly became one of the cornerstones on which the club has built its new winning streak for the Itas Trentino men’s team, marked by the achievement of two Scudetti (2023 and 2025), a Champions League (2024), and a Super Cup (2021). Despite the serious injury suffered ten months ago, he surpassed 200 appearances for Trentino Volley last season: only eleven players in the history of the yellow-blue team have more than him.
“I’m happy to be able to continue my career with this great club, which has always been a great point of reference for me since I arrived in Trento,” said Daniele Lavia upon signing the contract a few days ago. “The closeness and support I’ve received during the difficult times I’ve been through, and I’m referring in particular to the injury to my right hand last summer, have made me appreciate what I have here even more; for this reason, I’ve never considered another destination. Trento is home and family to me; I’m honored to renew my contract and will face next season with even more determination, because we all want to put this difficult period behind us. Trentino Volley deserves to always be at the top.”
