After announcing the arrivals of Jacopo Biffi and German forward Jannis Hopt, Avimec Modica has officially confirmed its first contract for the 2026/2027 season, which will see the “Galletti” continue their run in the Serie A3 championship.
The blue-and-white management has reached an agreement to continue an eight-year partnership with libero Vincenzo Nastasi, who will be a core member of the starting six, which, for the fourth consecutive year, will be led by coach Enzo Distefano and his staff.
Vincenzo Nastasi has now become a Modican by adoption, having always demonstrated a strong attachment to the jersey. His experience gained over the years wearing the blue-and-white jersey will be crucial on the field, where he exudes confidence in the second line, and in the locker room, where he has become a point of reference for all his teammates in recent years.
“I’m very happy to have been reconfirmed for the eighth consecutive season,” explains Vincenzo Nastasi after renewing his contract with Avimec Modica, “because Avimec Volley Modica and Vincenzo Nastasi have now become a partnership. I’m proud to remain in Modica because,” he continues, “a reconfirmation is never trivial. Every year I try to give my best for this club, these colors, and the team, so I can help achieve our goal every year. What made me most happy about this reconfirmation,” concludes the Avimec Modica libero, “are the goals that become more and more important every season. For next year, in fact, the club has invested in bringing new players to Modica to try to do even better in a league that, as we always say at the start of each new season, becomes increasingly competitive.”
