Two-time Italian Under-19 Champion (the second with the MVP Award) and two-time DelMonte® Junior League winner (the last as captain), Gabriele Pertoldi is already ready for his second season at Campi Reali Cantù. Last season marked his debut in the Credem Banca Serie A2, and his season has continued to grow, earning him a permanent spot in the shadow of the San Paolo bell tower.

Coach Tommaso Invernici commented on his confirmation: “Gabriele and I met when he was at Vero Volley Monza, and I’ve always appreciated his determination and positivity. Furthermore, he immediately expressed his desire to stay in Cantù after last season, and it’s important for me to have a strong attachment to the jersey.”

These are the player’s words: “I’m very happy to stay in Cantù: last season I felt very comfortable, both within the club and on a personal level, so it was easy for me to accept Ambrogio’s (President Molteni) offer. I’m very optimistic about next season: I already know many of my new teammates, I speak to some of them daily, and I can’t wait to get started. We’re a young but well-built team, and I think we can achieve a lot. I don’t feel like I can set a specific goal right now, but I’m sure we’ll have a lot of fun.”
