Domotek Reggio Calabria, winner of the Serie A3 Playoffs in the best-of-three finals, advances to the A2 Serie A2, along with Conad Reggio Emilia. In Game 3, the Calabrian team defeated Belluno Volley 3-0, earning the fans at PalaCalafiore a promotion to the division and redeeming themselves from the loss suffered in Game 5 of the Promotion Playoff.
The home team took control of the match from the opening exchanges. Laganà and Guarienti Zappoli, the only former player in the match, scored 14 points, while Innocenzi, who made four effective blocks, scored 13 goals. Among the visiting team, only Berger and Giannotti reached double figures, but both were tied at 10 points. The third set ended in a tight finale. The Veneto team deserved credit for coming back to 24-23, but was unable to turn the score around and get back into the game.
Sergio Di Meo, vice president of the Lega Pallavolo Serie A, and Elio Sità, vice president of the Italian Volleyball Federation, awarded Domotek Reggio Calabria their historic promotion to Serie A2 Credem Banca.
