There are opponents you learn to know by watching from afar.
And then there are those you face on the other side of the net, discovering their identity, ambitions, and value point after point.
This is how Andrea discovered Volley Sarroch.
After his SuperLega debut with Padova and subsequent stints in the national leagues with Motta di Livenza, Belluno, and Savigliano, the Veneto spiker arrives in the Gialloblù, bringing with him a wealth of experience, quality, and a desire to grow.
He’s 203 centimeters tall and has talent and a presence at the net, but above all, he’s a young man who has made humility, availability, and a culture of daily work the cornerstones of his journey. He’s an athlete who believes in the strength of the team, in the gym, and in patiently building results.
His career speaks volumes, but so do his accomplishments with the Azzurri, culminating in the Under-21 World Championship and the Under-22 European Championship.
Numbers, experiences, and successes have never changed his approach: working every day to become a better version of himself and help the team grow.
Coming off an intense season, fought until the final day and featuring 410 points, Andrea arrives in Sarroch with strong and genuine motivation: to return to pursuing important goals alongside a group he already feels close to.
“I’ve always viewed Sarroch as an opponent, and I was very impressed. Playing against them, I got the impression of an ambitious club, with clear goals, that builds increasingly competitive rosters season after season. I’m excited for this new adventure and ready to give everything for the team and my teammates. I can’t wait to grow together and face the season with determination, enthusiasm, and the right mentality.” »
