Roma – Home air is good too Roma who finds its second consecutive success of the championship within the walls with a found 3-0 against Sparkling Milano 25-23, 25-23, 25-16).

Marco Molteni is chosen to play for Roma instead of Leonel Marshall while Martino is chosen over Simone Rosalba by Milano.

Balanced first set up to the TTO. Milan does not give up but Ivan Miljkovic (Mvp) takes the lead and brings Roma to win (25-23).

Milano seems a bit more aggressive in the second set going up to 8-4. but Savani’s coldness in attack, MAstrangleo’s blocks and an ace by Mottola bring Roma to 12-12. A head to head battle gives Roma another winning set (25-23).

In the third set Roma runs away also thanks to Milano’s too many mistakes and wins 25-16 giving them a 3-0 victory.

Roberto Serniotti (coach M. Roma Volley): «The first two sets went head to head. Milano’s attack was good and we found it hard. The scores were decided at the end of the sets when we managed the extra 2 points. They went down in the third set».

Daniele Ricci (coach Sparkling Milano): «The first two sets were good but we made a few mistakes and allowed Roma to go 2-0. At that point we got demoralised and made too many mistakes. It is difficult to catch up when you are 6-7 points behind. We can still grow though».

MVP: Ivan Miljkovic (M. Roma Volley).
