Ferdinando De Giorgi will take part in its third Champions League Final Four. The previous ones did not bring him great joy “The first time was as a player – he explained – when I was at Modena. It was many years ago, the Russians won, they were really too strong for us at that time. The second one was as a coach, with Macerata in 2007. We lost in the semis against Friedriscshafen, when we thought we had the tie-break under control”. And he added “It’s never easy to get there so credit to us for getting there twice in just a couple of years. Macerata and Trento play a good volleyball so we should see a tight semi final. The way we will react in times of difficulty will be crucial, it will also be important not to play the game in our heads in the previous days”.
