Trentino further strengthened its squad with the signing of French spiker Renaud Herpe. This will help to make up for the absence of Winairski in the first few months of the league. The 34-year-old from Narbonne, 198cm tall, is complete and possesses an excellent technique. Herpe knows well the Italian league as he played for Latina, Gioia del Colle, Taranto and Macerata, where he helped the club win its first ever league title in 2006. In 2007, he signed for Russian Ural Ufa before moving to Greece and Panathinaikos the following season season.

“I’m thrilled to move to Trento – said Herpe – This will be a particularly nice and exciting challenge. I will have to fight to work hard for my place on court because in my position there are great players such as Winiarski and Kaziyski”.
