Nikola Grbic named playoff semi-final MVP
Nikola Grbic has been elected MVP of the playoff semi-finals. Cuneo’s setter won the coveted award thanks to 2 nominations obtained with the victories in game 1 and game 3 over Treviso. The Serbian respectively scored 10 and 12 points per game. He will receive his prize during V-Day, at the league final, which will take place on the 9th of May in Bologna’s Futurshow station.

Roma in final, awaits outcome of game 3 between Castellana and Crema
Castellana Grotte has to start back from scratch as it was defeated in Crema last Sunday. It will now host Monti’s boys for the deciding game 3. The winner will go through to the final and meet Roma in a series that will decide which team will go up in the elite. Game 3 is scheduled on Wednesday 5 May at 8.30pm at the PalaGrotte, while the final will begin on Saturday 8 May at 8.30pm and will be played on the best of three games.
