V-Day: tomorrow the big day
V-Day is upon us. Tomorrow at 6, Trentino and Cuneo will meet for the 32nd time of their history. They will fight for the league title 2010 on the tricolour court of Bologna’s Futurshow Station. Many channels around the world will cover the event: Al Jazeera Sport, Sport Tv Slovenia, Orange Tv Poland, Ring Tv Bulgaria, ERT Greece, and Brasilian’s ESPN.
Radostin Stoytchev (Itas Diatec Trentino): “Sunday, we’re expecting a very different encounter than the one played in January in Montecatini Terme. Cuneo is a team that further improved since then. I have a lot of respect for them because they have top quality players, capable of playing these types of games. Compared to the Italian Cup final, they will have Wijsmans, who had missed out on the game in January. This is one reason among others why we’re expecting a real battle. Still, the two teams have a fifty fifty chance”.
Alberto Giuliani (Bre Banca Lannutti Cuneo): “This is my first league final, I’m experiencing it with a lot of enthusiasm and excitement. In comparison with the finals played on 5 games, in which you can make adjustments and find a better understanding with time, the final on a single game is all over in a few hours, which is why you have to keep extremely composed and focused. We have already faced Trento three times this season: we know each other well. The game will be decided on details”.
