Trento’s Club World championships started with a straight set victory over Dinamo Moscow. A first but important step towards the semi-finals. It could get even closer to that target if it beat the Argentine team of Drean Bolivar tomorrow (top of the group with Trento). The remake of the last Champions League final had a similar scenario, with Trento having some difficulty only in one set, the third.

Radostin Stoytchev (coach Trentino BetClic): “Winning was the only thing that mattered tonight, no matter how well we played. I am extremely satisfied because we played a good volleyball too in the first part of the game. We lost our focus a bit in the third set but we still managed to keep our opponent at distance. We still have to improve a lot, especially in reception and on the break, where we don’t take our opportunities. Sala is surely not hundred percent yet but his come back is a great news that go along with this victory”.
