Padova had got off to a strong start with 70% in attack in the first two sets. Ravenna’s wake up call came in the third set: more focused it became more efficient in every department, attack and blocks (6). Back in it, Ravenna had the momentum in the fourth and was able to force a tie-break. The decisive set was a tense and tight affair, but in the end Ravenna could not complete the comeback.

“We showed great character once again – said sport director Paolo Badiali – Libero Monti had an excellent debut game in the A2”.
