In its last friendly game of the pre-season, Isernia came back from Sora with a 3-1 defeat but with satisfaction all the same. Without libero Spampinato, well substituted by young De Caria, Isernia showed good things against a team aiming for the title this year. Finnish setter Olli still needs to find his understanding with the others as it was only his second game, while outside hitter De Luca had a good performance.
