Radostin Stoytchev (Itas Diatec Trentino): “In the first set, we objectively gave away too much to Roma and they took advantage. But that made us play better at 0-1 down. Every now and then, we are not perfect but that can happen, especially now that we are focusing our attention on other things. 20 in a row? We’re not thinking about records, right now the important thing is to focus on our game and improve as much as we can before the Champions League Final Four”.
Andrea Giani (M. Roma Volley): “Against a team like Trento, you have to be patient and be ready to take advantage of their little lapses that occur during the game. We managed that in the first set but not in the successive ones, they did not make many mistakes to be honest. In the fourth set, we got back in the game but that was not enough. Still, we played fine and we have to build on those good things if we want to qualify for the playoffs”.

Roberto Piazza (Sisley Treviso): “We had a great game today, you don’t win that easily 3-0 against Verona, this is a team that made it difficult for everyone so far. The situation that occurred during the week should not influence us, we know we have many more targets ahead of us, the league and the European cup, we are professionals and we will play until the end. We managed to get rid of the mistakes we made in Monza, we handled better the end of sets”.

We did a good job of sealing them in the clutch time, then in the third, we imposed our rhythm from the start and that made it easier”.
Bruno Bagnoli (Marmi Lanza Verona): “Treviso had a better serve-reception combination, their aggressiveness on the serve made the difference. Shame we lost the first set when we played face to face, we did not manage to convert our opportunities when needed. We fought hard in the second set too, maybe If we had tied the game at 1-1, something would have been different. Meoni made some excellent plays, good contribution from Cala and Lasko and, despite the recent physical problems, we have to look ahead with confidence”.

Mauro Berruto (Lube Banca Marche Macerata): “We are happy with the result, but good volleyball is a different thing so I’m not satisfied with the performance of the team tonight. We have to sort out a few things, in some fundamental positions. The league table? We should absolutely not look at what the others are doing, we have to focus exclusively on ourselves. We’re playing in Europe now, and we know our opponent is one of the best of the competition as it got to this stage, so we’ll need maximum concentration”.

In the second, we got in the game, but we kept giving too many opportunities to Piacenza which made it easier for them to seal it. In the third, we could have won it but that’s how volleyball is, the result is never certain. In August, the coach told us that our priority should be to win 10 games, now we are stuck at 9, we wanted to reach this target today but couldn’t. We’ll have another go against Treviso. But we have to play better than this”.
Hristo Zlatanov (Copra Morpho Piacenza): “First of all, we are happy with this clear victory, we had not won like that for a long time and that is good for the confidence.
