Alessandro Paparoni (Lube Banca Marche Macerata): “The Challenge Cup final qualification gave us a lot of confidence and excitement. Besides the prestigious target, there were excellent performances in both games against the Greeks. The games against Modena are always fascinating, and that will be the case again. We know that, to stay close to Cuneo in the table, we’ll need the three points at all cost, so the aim is exclusively to do it, knowing we’ll have to suffer given that the opponent is very strong”.
Angel Dennis (Casa Modena): “Macerata is complete and very strong. We usually have good games against them, they seem to find it hard against us, while we manage to do well. Having said that, tomorrow will be a whole new game, Macerata is one of the favourites for the title and we’re preparing well for it. We’re working with intensity with Daniele, and we had already shown some excellent volleyball against Cuneo. It’s a good test this game against Macerata to understand where we stand. I’m personally in decent form, I regained some confidence, the understanding with Esko is coming back to the level it was last season and physically I feel better”.

Andrea Sartoretti (Sport director RPA-LuigiBacchi.it San Giustino): “This will be a difficult game for us against the fourth in the league table. Treviso has an important squad, it just qualified for the Cev Cup final. As for us, we’ve always made it hard for our opponents in the Palakemon, even against strong teams we have played good volleyball with the indispensable help of our fans”.
Rob Bontje (Sisley Treviso): “I am satisfied with the period the team is going through. We’re playing well both in the league and cup. We have gotten used to maintain a certain level, the turnover, which is working well, is helping too. All the players are doing well. In the last game, Papi and De Togni were great but it could be my turn or Kovar’s this time round. Our mind should not be on the Cev Cup final but on the next league encounters. San Giustino can really hurt you in attack. I know Maric, their spiker, I played with him two years ago in Verona: this will be one to watch. They are on the up and in the playoffs zone so we’ll have to be careful”.

Mantova takes on Segrate on Wednesday night, a postponed game of Round 24 in the A2. Mantova is 14th, fighting to stay up, while Ricci’s team wants to get mixed up with the top teams following the point snatched against Padova last Sunday.
