Just one game separates Cuneo from the Champions League Final Four of Bolzano. Giuliani’s team will try to make the breakthrough and win both the game and the Golden set away against Dinamo Moscow following the 3-1 first leg defeat.

Meanwhile, one Italian did qualify for the Final Four: Wegiel coached by Lorenzo Bernardi won the Golden set against Maaseik despite losing the return game 3-0.

Alberto Giuliani (coach Bre Banca Lannutti Cuneo): “We can’t expect Moscow to play worse than what it did in the first leg. They have been perfect here, but we should not hope they will not play well this time. We must be the ones to be better then them. And I guarantee you that this team can make it”.

Nikola Grbic (Bre Banca Lannutti Cuneo): “I am confident. I know we can turn things around. We have to improve on the serve, block and counter compared to the first leg. They will be the ones with the most pressure, because they have to win and make another top performance, like in Cuneo, but we won’t make it easy for them”.
