In the opener of the season, Genova showed its potential for two sets, then could not avoid the comeback of the team from Tuscany led by former Genova coach Cannestracci. Excellent performance from Yordanov and Benito Ruiz who finished respectively with 28 and 27 points. Nuti and Rizzo did well too.
