Monza had the better of Segrate at the tie-break as there will only be one friendly game left before the big kick off. Monza is welcoming back the players from the European Championships, and many of them came back with medals around their neck. One of them is Milos Nikic, who has been crucial for Serbia and who should be as important for coach Zanini. Another one is Simone Buti who earned silver.
“If somebody had asked us a few days ago if we’d accept a second place, we’d have said yes without hesitation – said Buti – But then, when you’re on court playing for gold, it really hurts to lose”.
