It’s been an extraordinary season for Verona which only went out of the playoffs yesterday at the hands of Cuneo. The club began the season with the aim to stay in the top division but it did much more, securing seventh place with a game in hand, finishing ahead of prestigious teams like Roma, Piacenza and Vibo Valentia.
“We arrived at the playoffs in good shape, both physically and mentally – said coach Bagnoli – Our team attack was positive again in game 3. During the season, we obtained important wins over Trevsio, Modena and Trento, victories that I will never forget”.
