Trentino made it into the V-Day – League final, which will take place in Assago on April 22. Trentino has always been in the V-Day since its creation three years ago, and Latina was not going to deny them this year either. MVP Stokr.
Jan Stokr (Itas Diatec Trentino): “These two games have been very difficult. They immediately put us under pressure today, the atmosphere was crazy and we paid the price for every mistake we made. I am glad we overcame this round. Cuneo or Macerata, it does not matter”.

Macerata came out on top at the end of a hard-fought game against Cuneo, which means it earned the right to play a deciding third encounter in Osimo on Wednesday. MVP: Stankovic.
Leandro Vissotto (Bre Banca Lannutti): “We had our chances in the second and fourth set to seal the game but we failed to take them. At the end we started to be tired physically and things became more difficult, we did not manage to come back in the tie-break. We’ll just have to travel there and go for it”.
Cristian Savani(Lube Banca Marche Macerata): “I am thrilled, shattered but happy. We have given everything, we have shown character and technique. I had said after Thursday’s game we needed to play more as a team and tonight we’ve done it. Obviously, things are more complicated without Parodi, who’s not back to full fitness yet. Our offensive game is more predictable, but we did a good job”.
