The Trento players and coaching staff will gather for the start of pre-season on August 13 at the PalaTrento arena, four months after the last official game (V-Day in Milan on April 22). The World Champions will have another intense season ahead with the Italian SuperCup, the Italian Cup (Trento will have to be amongst the top 8 in the league to be able to defend its title), the League, the Champions League and the World Club Championships. This pre-season will be much different than the usual as there will be more than half the squad available, which had never occurred in the first few days back. Eight players are expected: setters Raphael and Sintini, outside hitter Uchikov, spikers Kaziyski and Lanza, libero colaci and the middle blockers Burgsthaler and Valsecchi.
