This is the end of an unforgettable year 2012 for Giuliani’s Macerata team despite the recent defeat in the cup final against Trento. Macerata had already made it into the cup final last Febbruary (lost against Trento too) and went to the Champions League playoffs 6 but one day will remain in the memory of all: April 22 when the club won its second league title in history (once again against Trento). The party to celebrate the title with 12 thousand fans on July 14 was another special moment.
2012 in numbers: Overall Macerata played 51 games in 2012 in four different competitions and it won 36 of them.
