The coach of the Italian national team, who just carried out a two-day camp with the best youngsters of the country in Vibo, stayed in the city to watch the Vibo team in training.

“The 15 players that were present in Vibo represent a first selection which, it’s true, has a long-term goal, Rio 2016, but they also have a short term target given that there are available places for the World League and that the team will then take part in the Mediterranean games. I have been very happy with the project, I have seen 40 kids all together, and my opinion is that many of them have enough quality, both physically and technically, to play on Serie A teams. So, on this evaluation, I’d say that Italian volleyball is not going that bad”.
