Halkbank Ankara needed five sets to win the Cev Cup, which is the first European Cup ever won by a team from the Turkish capital. This was a tense and spectacular encounter.
Silvano Prandi (coach Andreoli Latina): “I have to admit that they played better than us. We have not been consistent enough. Credit to the winners”.
Gianrio Falivene (President Andreoli Latina): “We gave everything until the end. This was our first European attempt, we enjoyed it, and we can’t wait to play again in Europe”.

Macerata wins the 18th “Enrico Bazan” Cup
Macerata won the third Boy League of its history thanks to a 2-0 victory over Treviso in the final. A deserved triumph as they had already dominated the group stage with only one set lost before beating Trentino in the semis and then Treviso without losing a set.
