The Champions League Main Phase ended on Wednesday. The three Italian teams taking part qualified, Piacenza and Trento as first while Macerata finished second after going close to the breakthrough against Kazan.


This morning at 11.30pm, the CEV revealed the name of the Final Four venue to take place on March 23-24: Ankara, Turkey. This means Halkbank Ankara is directly through to the semi-finals. The playoffs 12 draw was also carried out: there will be an all-Italian affair between Macerata and Piacenza. The winner will meet the winner of Berlin versus Kazan. Trento will take on the Belgian side of Noliko Maaseik.
