The first outing against the Egyptian national team was a good test for Modena. The players that took part are: Loris Manià (libero), Andrea Sala (M), Fabio Donadio (libero), Elia Bossi (M), Davis Krumins (Se), Niki Hendriks (O) and Guillaume Quesque (S). The others who are on international duty like Deroo and KOvacevic will join the group later. Hendriks shined with 20 points, while Sala had 6 blocks and Bossi registered 5.
“These training sessions with other teams are very important for us – said coach Lorenzetti – Today, Egypt is definitely a level above us but I am quite happy with what I’ve seen. We have done well, especially in dig and on the jump-flot serve, while we struggled a bit in attack, which is totally normal”.
