It was always going to be tough against Piacenza but at the end of a superb first set and the 20-17 lead, the team started to believe in a good result. But then, the experience and quality of Piacenza took over.

“It’s a real shame the first set ended like that because in my opinion we had played our best volleyball of the year – said coach Montagnani – Then that unexpected break benefitted our opponent who had time to get reorganized. Besides, we thought too much about that end of set and never got back on track”.
