We’re just a couple of days away from the start of the big final with Game 1 on Friday in Corigliano. “If we managed to get this far it proves we did very well and we want to keep winning – said libero Lampariello – We’ll see what happens in the final now. Yes, some people say my contribution was important, it is nice to hear. I just came in the group hoping to help, so if my performances were useful to get where we are I can only be happy. The team was having a hard time when I arrived in the club in spite of the fact they are all excellent athletes, and individually it was clear they could all play. I guess I was wanted to help the group off the court, for my experience, my happy spirit in the changing room and my tendency to try to help my teammates. I think the club did well to look for the right fit in terms of personality, with an ability to get people together. The role of libero is not only receiving and playing dig but also to motivate the group, bring some stability which I always try to do. As for the final, no matter what will happen we have to fill the gym, this first game must be a great day of volleyball. We will fight till the end, but we want to see a packed arena, we feel we not only represent Corigliano but the whole Calabria”.
