Molfetta signs Rocco Barone

Molfetta made another great move on the market by signing Rocco Barone. Born in 1987, the middle blocker played at Perugia for the past two seasons. A great professional and an extremely lively athlete, quick around the net. He learned his volleyball in Vibo Valentia where he stayed seven years before living a memorable experience in Perugia. At international level, he won the gold medal at the Meditteranean games 2009 with Italy, beating the Spanish team led by coach Velasco in the final. Two years later, he won the silver medal at the European Championships. Molfetta now has three middle blocker, Barona, Candellaro and Spadavecchia.
