Padova signed Stephen Maar from the University of Hamilton, Ontario. Born on December 6, 1994, in Scarborough, the Canadian is a spiker/receiver who showed all his credentials in the recent Pan-American games, in which he was named best spiker of the competition.
“The Italian league is one of the best in the World, I can’t wait to play at this level – said Stephen – I am very curious to see Italy, I have never been there, and this might be the opportunity to learn the language too. My role is spiker-receiver, and I’d say I am a physical player in attack. I’d say the physical side is my main strength”.
